New York City
There's something for everyone in the Big Apple. A morning scavenger hunt at the Metropolitan Museum of Art may be followed by a matinee performance on Broadway then dinner at a fine restaurant which reflects the culture of your foreign language. How about a flamenco show with a traditional Spanish supper? The selections are nearly endless! Let us design a trip for your students that's exciting, meaningful and WOW from start to finish
Washington, DC
As a crossroads of government and commerce, our capital attracts international visitors on a global scale. Over 150 nations maintain an official presence here with their influences evident through music, art, language and food. Let CTA show your foreign language students the international side of this great city.

French Canada
If you've never taken a group of students to Canada for a French experience, here's your chance. CTA specializes in arranging new programs for groups to visit our northern neighbor. Canada, long famous for its clean cities and safe culture, is a wonderful place to practice your French. Montreal, Quebec City, and the capital of Ottawa are vibrant, exciting urban centers with varying degrees of bilingualism. A short visit to a French public school, sometimes including lunch and a mini-exchange, forge unions between cultures and offer one-on-one conversation opportunities. If your group is from a rural area, we'll suggest metropolitan activities; if you're a city school, then country options may play a more significant role in your particular trip.
Mexico: The Yucatan
The accomplishments of the Maya people are amazing! Travel with our Maya guide to archaeological sites which uncover mysteries of this advanced early culture. Learn some words in one of the 26 Maya dialects, and use your Spanish continually. And after a few days in the steamy Yucatan jungle, maybe you'd like to relax on the beach in Cancun or Cozumel. Many options are available at your discretion.
Costa Rica
The Republic of Costa Rica is the crowning jewel of Latin America. With one of the highest literacy rates in the world along with a treasure of teeming natural resources including rainforests, spectacular volcanoes, hot springs and fascinating and unique plants and animals, this captivating country is a stunning tourist destination. The plush resorts and beaches on both the Pacific and Caribbean draw travelers from the world over, but as a Spanish language destination, it offers tremendous opportunity for students of middle and high school age. Most tour packages are 9 days and include all meals, shopping and cooking classes, dialect lessons, rural and village public school visits (half-day mini exchanges), evening entertainment, knowledgeable local guide and ground transportation, and as with all CTA trips, custom packages are available.
